Roppongi Hills is a must to go place for pretty much anybody who spends a week or more in Tokyo. It’s a “western style” piece of Tokyo, urbanism brought to perfection. It doesn’t really matter what time of the year is there - it’s busy and relaxing place at the same time in pretty much any season, except maybe in the middle of a typhoon.
MoreWatch out for Nigerians scammer are night time. Day time is safe
Amazing place with fancy cafes. Best choice to visit.
Name brands everywhere ..lots to see and really good eating spots. I recommend Frijoles for burritos/tacos
MoreThis is a must do if you are interested in viewing the sheer size of Tokyo. I highly recommend going in the later afternoon and watching the sunset from the roof. It does get extremely crowded, so you are best off going early and waiting. It is very cold and windy at the top, so be sure to dress appropriately. The museum below is not very noteworthy, and is not worth a visit in my opinion. Although, it is a good way to kill time while you wait for the sunset.
MoreBeautiful place to visit but if you want to have good time, don't forget to consider to have bigger wallet to use ;)
MoreDecent shopping mall with a observation deck and a museum. Great view in observation deck.
MoreYou can have a metropolitan view from daytime to night ranging from the Tokyo tower to Skytree on the sky deck. There are also different kinds of exhibitions in the MoriArt museum.
MoreSo... It's supposed to be opened 24/7, but actually you cannot go to the top whenever you want. It's be good to have that info on Google when looking for the place instead of going there only to realize that too bad it's already closed.
MoreA beautiful complex with vast shopping and dining options. Mori Museum completes the local offer with its interesting programs.
MoreOnce we got to the rooftop, we were asked to put our bags in a locker without any explanation of why we needed to leave our bags in a locker. You can take your phone and camera as long as it fits in your pocket. FYI¥100 refundable deposit for a locker. The coin comes out inside of a door, so don't forget to pick it up. Here's my suggestions on time to visit here is before the sunset to enjoy the view in the day light and then the night view. I was there on 11/7 early afternoon. It was very windy and a bit chilly. If you're planning on going there at night, be sure to bundle up!Come in December for the Christmas market and holiday cheer. There is a perfect spot where photography enthusiasts snap a photo of Tokyo Tower, standing elegantly amidst illuminated streets- the glow, the sparkle, the happiness the season brings. The night view is stunning.
